We, at Hyron Regional Economic Development Corporation are committed to profiling the interests of Labrador West region and are devoted to bringing forth prosperity to this robust region. This website will act as a portal to many of the projects we are currently working on and will provide you with a snapshot of the future outlook for the region. The Zone 2 region is located just north of the 52 parallel and is made up of three towns (Labrador City, Wabush, and Churchill Falls) which are endowed with a vast array of mineral and energy resources. In addition, the region consists of wilderness that has been untouched for thousands of years and offers some of the best tourism experiences in all of Canada. We, as an Economic Development Board are focused on diversifying our regional economy and building relations with key players who see progressive growth for our region. Our goal is to make Labrador West a diverse and flourishing community for future generations to come.
