Board Structure

The Board of HYRON is comprised of a cross section of members of the communities namely:

• One for each of the Municipalities of Churchill Falls, Wabush and Labrador City
• One for each of the Geographic regions of Churchill Falls, Wabush, and Labrador City
• One Industry representative serving the interests of the Mining Companies and Hydro
• One Business representative serving the interests of the general Business Community
• One representative serving the interests of secondary & post-secondary education
• One Labor representative serving the interests of all unionized workers
• One representative of Tourism Culture and Recreation
• One representative of the various Economic organizations
• One representative serving the interests of Youth
• One representative serving the interests of the various social organizations
• One representative serving the interests of the Zone’s youth
• Resource persons as required representing various government agencies.
