Lower Churchill Project

An Environmental Assessment process was initiated on January 30, 2009 for the proposed Labrador - Island Transmission Link. Once completed, this report will be submitted for review by government and the public. The provincial and federal Ministers will, based on the results of the EA, then decide whether the Project can proceed, and if so, under what terms and conditions.

Government is also committed to other regional infrastructure investments such as transportation, tourism, and community infrastructure.
